Winter holiday season

If you look for a place where to spend your winter holiday season, visiting Montenegro could be a great choice. There are a lot of events, concerts and festivals during Christmas and New Year season. You can enjoy warm and filling traditional Montenegrin cuisine in local cafes and restaurants.

We can consider that the festive season begins on December 25th, the day of Catholic Christmas. In Montenegro, it is a working day. Then comes the New Year, which is widely celebrated. And it all ends with Orthodox Christmas on January 7th (Christmas Eve is called Badnji dan here and has its own traditions).
